It's Time For Some GOD DAM ACTION!
One Impossible Belief + One Practical Next Step = Shockwaves of GOD DAM ACTION | Launching OneMillion.Homes | 10 Years To Produce 1,000,000 Scale-Free Homes, Crossing The Economy Chasm of 200 Cities.
December 13th, 2024:
I’m Dam Daniel, the Dam Leader of the God Dam Action Network (GDAN).
I grew up in the hood (distressed census tract) of Kansas City, Missouri, in one of the nation’s worst zip codes for life outcomes and opportunities.
I’m an architectural engineer by trade. In 2013, I left my desk after watching four city blocks of my neighbors be displaced by a so-called “capital improvement project.” I began to question why this $#!T always happens in my community and not others.
Together with my partner in all things—Ebony (my wife, my baby momma, the majority owner of my life)
We turned an abandoned castle that was the third city jail into our wedding venue to reinvest back in our community and threw some pretty dope parties.
We went to six countries, nine cities, and every major Jazz festival in the world at that time. We started a Jazz Record Label, and our first Artist went #1 on the iTunes Jazz Charts. We intended to use the record to raise capital to rebuild the historic Jazz neighborhood that invented Swing Jazz and in which generations of our families grew up into the Jazz Recording capital of the World.
We’re the second-largest private landowners in downtown Kansas City.
We own the nation’s only Black and Woman Owned Lumber Yard—Robert Wiley Material Supply Company, DBA Eastside Lumber.
We’re expanding our Lumber Yard into a Advance Manaufacturing Facility for climate resielent scale-free housing to produce thousands of homes / year.
And starting now, we’re taking the next step toward our next impossible belief, no questions asked.
TODAY WE ARE LAUNCHING OUR IMPOSSIBLE BELIEF + ONE NEXT PRACTICAL STEP
One Impossible Belief:
10 years
To Produce 1,000,000 Scale Free Homes,
Crossing The Economy Chasm Of 200 Cities.
One Practical Next Step:
Start A Substack Activate 1000 people into taking "God Dam Action" so when I come to their City, they are ready to take "God Dam Action" with me!
I’m not here for warm fuzzies or polite applause—I’m here for results. My team and I have lived through impossible actions and watched dominoes fall in unimaginable ways. We know what it’s like to stare down absurd challenges—thrilled, terrified, and unstoppable.
We’ve launched this Substack to channel that kinetic energy directly to you!
Sure, we speak at conferences and hold behind-closed-doors meetings, but it’s time to go public. People keep asking for a deeper look. A book might happen someday, but right now, we’re about taking action, not perfecting a manuscript. This Substack is our arena: raw, unfiltered, and ready for prime time.
Like others, we thought our crises were special and unique to our city.
After traveling across countless cities, meeting with neighbors, leaders, politicians, mayors, business communities, and civic groups, we found a recurring theme:
Unsettled “Dans and Ebs” who want to activate their talents to empower communities through business, creativity, and service, yet find their expectations labeled “impossible,” “ambitious,” or “too high-risk.”
Settled folks—city officials, civic leaders, businesses, and residents — are stuck battling a status quo so entrenched that it feels like quicksand. They’ve got resources, but they’re wrestling with legacy structures that refuse to budge.
We’ve Reached A Firm, Impossible Conclusion: No model exists to overpower the inaction of the status quo.
There is no economically viable business model to solve the housing crises of cities leading to tens of thousands of cost-burderned families house poor at all income levels.
There is no economically viable business model to rebuild urban core neighborhoods into thriving communities without kicking out everybody and their grandma. So, they have been disinvested in all aspects under the terms of “high-risk” for generations.
Therefore, there is no economically viable business model to fuel the dreams and desires of the majority of city residents who remain unsettled, house-poor, and stuck in deserts of lackluster opportunity.
ACTIVATING THE GOD DAM ACTION NETWORK
While the above is our direct impossible mission, we’re on a quest to activate 1,000 people into the GOD DAM ACTION Network—people who will build, create, invest, and inspire to solve “impossible” problems on a scale no one dared imagine. So when we show up in your city, we’re not walking into an empty gym; we’re stepping onto the court with a starting lineup ready to rumble.
Expect unapologetically bold guidance, raw accounts of wins and losses, and the unshakable conviction that your next action matters more than you think.
What Else To Expect:
Tone & Content: Elite championship huddle—straight talk, massive vision, aggressive optimism.
Frequency: We’ll drop in regularly, each post a new drill to sharpen your mind, muscles, and willpower.
Style: Punchy, honest, and designed to fire you up. No extra fluff. Just practical insights, truth bombs, and the occasional reality check.
NOW WTF IS "GOD DAM ACTION?"
MOVING FROM (GOD DAMNED)
Standing on the sidelines, rationalizing your “crazy,” and questioning if you should do more… That’s the FROM state—where you’re “God Damned” by inaction, by threats, by all the voices telling you “This is impossible!” or “Just calm down.” or “Now’s not the right time.” or “Too Ambitious!” In other words, stuck.
MOVING TO ( GOD DAMMED)
We’re here to push you TO the “God Dammed” state, where you take that next bold move—no matter how absurd it sounds—and trust that the universe (God, nature, call it what you want) will rearrange the landscape. Your impossible belief plus your practical action is the formula for trigger-earthshaking miracles we call “God Dam Action.”
OLD SCHOOL GOD DAM ACTION
It all starts with a story from 1406 BC. Joshua and his unsettled community stood before an impossible barrier: a raging Jordan River at flood stage. There were no bridges, no blueprints, just a crazy directive from God: “Take a few steps into the river.”
Joshua 3:8 Give this command to the priests who carry the Ark of the Covenant: ‘When you reach the banks of the Jordan River, take a few steps into the river and stop there.’”
No fancy plan. Just step into overflowing chaos. But Joshua believed something impossible was on the other side of the practical next step. And like a coach giving a halftime speech before a game-winning play, he rallied his people:
Joshua 3:9 So Joshua told the Israelites, “Come and listen to what the Lord your God says... Joshua 3:13 The priests will carry the Ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth. As soon as their feet touch the water, the flow of water will be cut off upstream, and the river will stand up like a wall.”
Joshuas matched his internal impossible belief with the practical action of their feet touching the water. Then the impossible happened:
Joshua 3:15 It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge,
16 the water above that point began backing up a great distance away at a town called Adam, which is near Zarethan. And the water below that point flowed on to the Dead Sea[c] until the riverbed was dry. Then all the people crossed over near the town of Jericho.
17 Meanwhile, the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant stood on dry ground in the middle of the riverbed as the people passed by. They waited there until the whole nation of Israel had crossed the Jordan on dry ground.
REPEAT GOD DAM ACTION
A few years back, I stumbled upon a 3-minute YouTube video that detonated my assumptions:
A GOD DAM EARTHQUAKE BECAUSE OF IMPOSSIBLE BELIEF?!?!?!
Fast-forward to 1927 AD. An earthquake rocked that same region, triggering a landslide in the city of Adam that dammed the Jordan River again!
Joshua’s impossible belief + his practical next step = God sending an earthquake, 20 miles upstream, that he never saw or even felt coming. A landslide. A dried-up riverbed. A perfect pathway for his entire community.
Different era, same principle.

THREE GROUPS INVOLVED IN GOD DAM ACTION
The God “Damn” Threatened System
Today, we’re not just fighting rivers. We’re facing entrenched systems that perpetuate “God Damned” conditions. Sometimes it’s easy to blame one bad apple, but often even the best-intentioned people are trapped in systems that reward mediocrity and punish big moves. These “Threatened Systems” thrive on red tape, outdated policies, rigid lending criteria, toxic charitable mindsets, and archaic zoning laws. They box you in and whisper, “It’s impossible. You’re too risky. Who do you think you are?”
How This God Dam Blog Helps:
We’re going to name the systems —call out the nonsense and expose the cracks in these fortified walls. We’ll bring tools to help you navigate, challenge, and break these systems down to size. So you can stop rationalizing your crazy ideas and start executing on them, forcing the system to change or get left behind.
Unsettled People: Impact of God Damn Threatened Systems
You’re the ones feeling the real heat. You’ve got that spark inside—maybe it’s building a million homes, launching a substack that galvanizes 1,000 radicals, or composing the first hip-hop symphony. Whatever your dream, these threatened systems keep you unsettled, holding you back from capital, connections, and confidence. They whisper:
“Not here. Not now. Not you.”
But deep down, you know you’re called to something bigger. You can’t shake that “impossible” vision. You might be broke, misunderstood, or outnumbered—but you’re not crazy. You’re exactly who we need.
How This God Dam Blog Helps:
We’ll arm you with strategies and insider moves. We’ll show you how to reframe your impossible action as inevitable, how to approach would-be allies and partners, and how to move forward even when your knees are shaking. Consider us your training camp—drilling you with mental reps until stepping into the “river” is second nature. With each bold move, you’re one step closer to unleashing shockwaves of God Dam Action.
Settled People: Ready To Help The Unsettled Get Settled
Some of you have made it already—resources, stability, maybe a name that carries weight. But that doesn’t mean you’re exempt from impossible beliefs. You might still face your own massive leaps of faith. Even with your advantages, you, too, can run into Threatened Systems that doubt your next big play. Being settled doesn’t mean you’ve got it all figured out—it just means you’re positioned to help others cross their Jordans.
How This God Dam Blog Helps:
We’ll show you how to leverage your assets to empower those unsettled visionaries without trapping them in dependency. You’re the first one stepping into the water, holding the Ark so others can pass. And guess what? When you champion someone else’s impossible action, you’re priming the universe to respond when it’s your turn to take another insane leap.
TAKING THE NEXT + BOLD PRACTICAL
This is where theory turns into muscle memory. Let’s get specific:
Threatened Systems: Name one barrier choking your project. Is it a closed-minded lender, a city ordinance, a scarcity mindset? Identify it and poke a hole in it. Write an email. Make a call. Ask a question no one’s dared to ask. Break the ice now.
Unsettled People: Choose one impossible action that’s been haunting you. Start it. Today. Draft the first paragraph of that Substack, hit us up directly, connect with that mentor—whatever it is, do it before you talk yourself out of it again.
Settled People: Find one bold doer whose vision resonates with you. Offer them a resource without strings—maybe a crucial intro, a financial seed, or a piece of prime real estate. Fuel their ignition, then get out of their way.
Every move counts. Take it. Feel that tremor beneath your feet? That’s the universe responding, rearranging fault lines, and making room for your next stride.
IMAGINE THE GOD DAM ACTION!
Close your eyes and envision this: 1,000 newly activated champions, each taking impossible steps alongside you. Picture an unprecedented ripple effect—vacant lots erupting into thriving hubs, cultural deserts turning into epicenters of creativity, and entire communities leaping over the boundaries that once felt unbreakable. Once trapped in economic distress, cities are finally scaling up and out, fueled by investments that transcend old red lines on a map.
We’ve done it before. My wife and I bought a lumber yard in an environment that screamed, “Don’t try this!”—and it triggered breakthroughs we never saw coming. We’re going all-in to prove that scaling up seemingly “impossible” housing solutions in 200 cities isn’t just hype—it’s the story's next chapter.
This isn’t just hopeful talk. It’s a rallying cry. If Joshua’s bold step could trigger an earthquake he never even witnessed, what seismic shift might your action release for people waiting on you? Because they are waiting. The impossible is waiting. The God Dam Action Network is here to equip you to do it.
This is just the beginning. Future posts will go deeper, spotlighting real-world case studies, delivering unvarnished truths, and challenging you to act. Together, we’ll transform impossible beliefs into unstoppable movements. We’ll pick up the Ark, step into the flood, and expect the ground beneath us to shift in our favor.
No more excuses. No more shrinking back. Your impossible action matters—so take it. This is God Dam Action, and we’re only getting started.
